Experience the cultures of the world via lunching with us once every 3 months. Each quarter, the group visits a different culture via Long Island restaurants which specialize in specific ethnic cuisines (i.e. Polish, French, Afghani, Persian, Spanish, German, etc.) The group is limited to 30-40 MWI members, depending on the capacity of the particular restaurant.
We truly experience what goes into bringing the food of the culture to the table. By interviewing the owner and chefs, we learn their background and vision for their restaurant. The chef spends time with the diners to explain how they put together a menu and the preparation required. Then members are encouraged to ask questions to gain more insight.
