Wow, I cannot believe six months have passed since the installation of the current board of MWI!
It's incredible to remember all the amazing events during that time. It started with the installation of the new board in June and a presentation to the charities chosen this year by the Philanthopy Committee. The presentation of the funds and the acceptance speeches of the organizations and the reipient from Feinstein's Institute were inspiring. It reminds us just what MWI is all about. The visits to Fire Island Vines, Cold Spring Harbor Labs, Book & Author Luncheon and Musical Bingo. I can still hear the group singing along with the music from our youth.
Looking ahead, I'm excited about what's to come. Of course, we will plan a general meeting, card party, and some local trips. This board has many new thoughts about programs that we are considering for the future. Remember, we need all of you to participate in the programs to make them successful.
Here's to celebrating our past events and looking forward to many more new ones.
