Your new MWI Executive Board has started off with a resounding bang!
On June 17th we had our first "Meet and Greet" since before the pandemic. The event was well attended by a very impressive group of ladies, and it was our pleasure to meet them. Since then we have had the good fortune to have a few newcomers agree to join some of our committees and attend our functions. Kudos to them!
This year the aim of MWI is to retain and add as many new members as possible. We are working on improving our Facebook page along with our website. I know this will take a while, but we will continue on our journey.
We have had two Advisory meetings and are taking the suggestions of our members seriously. We are preparing a survey of ideas for new study groups which you will receive by email. Please respond as our organization is dependent upon your membership. Our installation, donation ceremony, and wine tasting adventure on August 15th were well attended and a big success.
Special thanks to my two Co Vice Presidents, Phyllis Biernick and Alyssa Greenwald, for their support and hard work. We're excited to work together, and with you, to run interesting programs that will enrich our lives and to continue to support local charities who provide services to those in need.
We have a lot of new ideas for the future. Please do your part, participate, enjoy, and support.
