Mark your calendars! On the second Thursday of each month in July, August, and September we will be featuring a series of outstanding speakers and programs you won't want to miss.
In July, Greg Blank presents the films and career of Robin Williams. Robin Willams was one of the most extraordinary performers of our time - hilarious, heart-warming, surprising, sweet, and a true comic and dramatic genius. Greg's presentation will celebrate the remarkable life and work of this unforgettable entertainer.
In August, Larry Wolf helps us celebrate America's 250th anniversary with his patriotic program, Yankee Doodle Dandy. Join us for a lively and entertaining look at our nation's history, heritage and spirit.
In September, Karen Quinenes-Smith will introduce us to the fascinating world of Artificial Intelligence. Her beginnner-friendly course will help us understand the basics of AI and how it is becoming part of everyday life. This is a program that everyone can benefit from attending.

OUCH BABIES
Ouch Babies meets the 4th Wednesday of the month at the EMJC from 10:00-11:00 AM. We would like to thank MWI members Anne Sharkis and Harriet Rothstein, who were invaluable in sewing the Ouch Babies' bodies for our members to stuff at the meetings.

Creative Writing has room for a few more members...
We met on the 4th Friday of every month at the Merrick Park Golf Club House at 1 pm.
Knitting and crocheting are more fun when you do them with others. Come sit and knit with us. We are making hats for children with cancer, fiddle muffs for adults with Alzheimer's and working on our own projects. Don't know how to knit or crochet? We'll teach you. Every Tuesday, Beginning and Intermediate Bridge players get together at Haypath Road Community Center in Bethpage at 12:30pm - 3:30 pm to play Bridge.
Everyone is welcome to come play and ask questions to better their bridge game. Please join us.
