Using tangles (specific patterns that have been deconstructed to a few simple steps- called "STEP OUTS,"
(drawn with specific strokes:ICOSJ)
in a repetitive fashion on a very small space.
There will be a weekly meeting, on a no commitment basis. You must contact leader Phyllis Capp and leave a message if you want to attend or if you have any quetions.
No drawing experience needed.
There is no need for an eraser as everything you do is OK and correct.

CLASSIC BOOK CLUB
The second season for the Classic Book Club has begun. During the first season we read and reviewed Daniel Deronda by George Eliot, The House of Mirth by Edith Wharton, Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte, and My Antonia by Willa Catha. In September the book was Rebecca by Daphne DeMaurier.
The next meeting date is December 8th, and the book will be The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne. If interested, please email Susan Staller at hahae5@aol.com.
OUCH BABIES
If you can cut, stuff, or sew, you can make a doll! On the fourth Wednesday of the month at 10:00am we meet at the East Meadow Jewish Center to create OUCH BABIES that will help children cope with discomfort.
KNIT/CROCHET
If you are a beginner, experienced, or interested in learning to knit or crochet, this is the Study Group for you! What you make will be your choice. We will meet the fourth Wednesday of the month from 11am to 12pm at the East Meadow Jewish Center. The group will be led by Carol Braunstein, Sherri Evans and Hera Robinson.
